December 15th

The weatherman promised rain by Cruise time, well, like normal he was wrong! However "Mustang Mike" did start the closing ceremonies a little early because of phone reports of rain at Disney World.

This, the last Cruise-In of 2005, as far as here at the Wal-Mart/Sonic. This is the agreement that we have always honored with the merchants. Let them have the whole parking lot for this busy season. The Wednesday Nite Cruise-In at Magnolia Square will Cruise right through this season. The threat of rain kept many Cruisers away tonight and maybe even a little Christmas shopping came into play. However by 7:00 we had 45 cars lining our section of the parking lot.

Evelyn was running around "shaking her Can", er, I mean the Can for the Kids. We needed a little more for the "Kids" and we got it tonight, Thank You. Now we will find as much TV as $398.40 will buy.

"Big John" was the first to arrive after Linda and I parked. As luck would have it he knew the answer to the Trivia Question, so he took home the $10.00 Beef O'Brady's" gift certificate.

The 50/50 ticket worth $100 was in Philp Piazza's hand, he donated back $20 to the prize booty for the first Cruise-In of next year.

The $125 "Cruise-A-Matic" would have gone home with Cruiser # 411, Janet Jansen, that is if she would have been with us. Awwwwwww.

"Cruiser of the Week went home with Cruiser #179, Ron Bozarth in his '64 Corvair Convertible,

I was pleased, on behalf of "Steve Butler's Cruise-In News" and the rest of the Cruisers to award this years "Cruiser of the Year" to Bob Nagro and his 1936 Humpback Ford.

Another great night with good friends! Always fun and informative evening. The "Wookie" was still without his "Heartbreaker" now he has 2 cars MIA.

I lost the light before many of the cars were in place but I did get a few photos.

Congratulations to all the winners! See you next year, right back here at the "Thursday Nite Cruise-In" or Join us at the "Square" or at Old Town, we will be spending Christmas eve and New Years eve at the "Saturday Nite Cruise.
