December 1st

It seemed like a December nights from a northern latitude, every once and a while we get a little cold, tonight was one of those whiles! The arriving "Snowbirds" must be dragging it down with them.

I had some old friends from Wisconsin stop by to see me, Dale & Lorie from Rosendale used to run around that part of the planet with me and my first wife in Custom Vans back in the 70's, remember them. My youngest daughter Leigh Anne and grandson, Gabryel came down to see them too.

We had another "snowbird" join in with us tonight Larry Robinson with yet another car. Tonight he had a Blue '57 Ford Fairlane 500 convertible out. Welcome back Larry! Speaking of Robinsons, John and Jennifer are already back from Guernsey for a bit of a Holiday Stay. Good to see that Mustang out,

It was good to be Cruising again, even if for only 3 weeks before we take another break. We still need more donations for the "Kids". The 8th is the last chance we have to collect for the "Gift Cards" we want to get them. Remember there are 32 of them.

Along 13th Street we had the regulars that included Bob, Dan & Liz, and "Big Jim" in his Chevelle. Nicky Bop made it out for the first time in WEEKS! Well tonight the had Mrs. Nicky Bop to a Cruise for the first time since they got married. Congratulations, I know "Stay Out of the Nines".

We now have a "Cruise Director" someone to head up events for next year. Tony DeBlasio graciously accepted the position. Idea's for next year? See Tony with them. Welcome and Thank You Tony.

Ed & Evelyn left a little early to go see Tom Adams that is recuperating from surgery at home. Can't wait to see you back out Tom, heal well.

The Winner of the $10.00 Beef O'Bradys gift certificate, for having the correct answer to tonight's trivia question was Cruiser #35 Roy Fitz Sr.

The holder of the winning ticket for the 50/50 of $113 was Barbra Vliet. She gave back $13.00 towards next weeks prize booty.

The "Cruise-A-Matic" for next week is $125.00, Cruiser # 374, Roger Gonzales  wasn't out tonight, so we didn't get to see his '69 Camaro nor did he win the cash... Awwwwwwwwwww.

"Cruiser of the Week" was awarded to Roy Fitz Sr., Cruiser #35 with his 1956 Chevrolet Belair.

Well the light leaves so soon these day but I did get a few photos..

Congratulations to all the winners and a big Thank You to all that came out tonight! See you at the Saturday Nite Cruise!
